Camping will be available Friday and Saturday, the same arrangement as this time and the marquee and bbq etc. will be there again too.

Just let me know a bit nearer the time what time you'll be arriving so I can make sure the gate is unlocked.

As a new club member and having never been to any of the L7C "does" could you give me an idea on the attendees. I must say it all sounds a great laugh but is it suitable for young children. I am bringing my children up the best I can and at 6 and 8 years of age they can quote power and weight figures for a SL, but would a Friday night at Curborough for example be suitable. Do others bring children to the camping weekends etc. I know not all people like to see children about if it is an adult "do"

Paul, your children are very welcome to join in - potential future Club members there! wink.gif

I'm sure you'll keep an eye on them especially in the paddock during sprint day as it does get a bit busy and even us grown-ups need eyes in our bums! teeth.gif

Thanks Barbara,

I hope to see you all there, the kids will look after me, if anything, "Daddy tends to get carried away" I know the entries for the sprint fill up quickly, but what about the Ladies day. What is involved , is it a sprint for Ladies or have I got the wrong idea. And no before you ask I won't be in drag, but Liz , the better half, might be persuaded to have a go. Well she's bloody fast on the M25

It's not a sprint, it's for the fairer sex to have a go in their husband's/partner's seven, in safety, off the public highway while said male is safe in the knowledge that there is gentle instruction and encouragement and his pride and joy is not at risk! cool.gif

Go on, bring her along, speak to Jamie Jones on 0121 753 1329 asap to see if there are any places. He's organising it.

EVERYONE is invited to do the Marshals Club sprint Saturday 24th August the day before ours on Sunday 25th just phone Steve Hill on 01434 609723 or 07710 131130 and we can make it yet another huge 7 gathering and a whole weekend of sprinting! Don't leave it too late though or you won't get in, we've already booked a load of places!

Barbara.
