For the second day in a row its raining at lunchtime when I have the Caterham in the car park and was planning to go out in it.

I'm not a (total) wuss but I dont want to get soaked and then have to go back to work.

look you two - I amid=red> a wuss smile.gif

seriously, I dont mind getting wet (ask Mark Piper - it was raining when I picked the car up from him) but i dont have any decent waterproofs (ask Mark about the yellow stuff I was wearing, actually, no, dont, I'll never live it down)

The trouble is I cant turn up back here soaking wet because I dont have a change of clothes.

Having said that it is looking a bit brighter outside, so I may still make it.

I just had a guy come in to see me & suggest I give him a ride. Got 2 miles down the road into a cloud burst. Lucky we are both bald, got a bit difficult to see out of my glasses.

I do wish that lines of traffic would do more than 30 in the de-restricted zones, then we would have been ok.

Still when it stopped we did get to do a doughnut or two to make up for the slow wet ride :)

I also find that it all goes over my (also bald) head at 30+mph

Unfortunately I need to go over to the other side of Norwich and I doubt if I can get up to 20mph most of the way so I'm just sitting here half working and half reading Blatchat just fuming at the rain.

The BBC radar shows a big patch of rain over Norwich now, followed by a clear spell when I'm in meetings and more coming along behind it at about the time I want to go home. mad.gif

Nick stop moaning - at least you have a Caterham that you can drive to work - I'd have to push mine....[:(

PS you were quite a sight when you left my house at 8.30 that evening - I'll never forget it... - a fluorescent smudge in the otherwise dark Caterham...then it started to rain....
