expansion tank

I seem to recall seeing a new caterham with a bottle shaped expansion tank. Does anyone have a link so I could see it again? I can't find the tank on the caterham site, might be duratec related but I can't recall where I saw it, sorry

unfoortunately not. I recall one that is bottle shaped rather than pot shaped.

I have seen vertical header tanks, which take a normal radiator cap, is this any use?

The one you want is not on the CC site. I ordered one a week ago and it has not turned up yet... Been trying them all day and can't get hold of them. If you manage to speak to them I think the one you want is fitted to the current CSR (and can you ask then to send mine as well please!

Jason, have you seen any pics of the tank anywhere?

I've seen one fitted on new a CSR. It has the main hose at the bottom and theres moulded in lugs at the rear and CC also do a mounting bracket to mount in to the scuttle.

 

The Post man tried to deliver mine today so it's at the sorting office and I'll pick it up tomorrow so if you need a pic or dimentions let me know.

Called caterham and my descripion produced a distinct lack of joy. A pic and pt number would be really handy if at all possisble?

the part number is 74604 and the cap is part number GRC184. Both are rover parts. My camera is a work but if you PM me your mobile number I'll send a pic to that.
