Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted December 6, 2007 Leadership Team Posted December 6, 2007 Does anyone spare 6 of the small bolts that fasten the clutch cover to the flywheel (k-series)? Age/condition not important - it's just to hold the assembly together whilst it's balanced because I'll fit new ones when I do the final assembly. I need to post them to the balancers next week so looking for anything pretty quick???????????? Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
Stationary M25 Traveller Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Do we know what size bolt you need, to see if we have anything here ? Failing that, I could go to CC for you in the morning, and send Royal Mail Special Delivery to you or the balancers ? 7 related photos
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted December 7, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted December 7, 2007 Many thanks for the kind offer Hold off for now though ...... I'm now unsure whether I need M7 or M8 I had an R500 flywheel in my last car that definately took M7, same as a normal flywheel. Again, the engine I'm building has an R500 flywheel but I've heard rumours that the holes may now be M8! The flywheel is definately newer than my last one. I'm expecting a set of M8 bolts from Andy B over the weekend so I'll put them in the post first and see whether they fit. If not I'll need to start again! Stationary M25 Traveller Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 I could get to CC late Saturday morning, or one day next week if it helps. Can adjust my working day to catch them one end of the day or the other. Also - off work all day Tuesday next week - which will involve going to Caterham (the town, not the company), so could also call at Redline if necessary. 7 related photos Edited by - Stationary M25 Traveller on 7 Dec 2007 15:20:10
