JampJ Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Anybody know what other car models they fit apart from the Ital / Marina? I want a good pair as spare. Cheers John JFDI (Just F*****g Do It)
elie boone Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Get in touch with Jigsaw racing, they are very helpfull and know more than a thing or 2 about the Ital axle. www.jigsawracingsevices.co.uk
Area Representative Crudders Posted December 3, 2007 Area Representative Posted December 3, 2007 John - the same axle was used in the the Triumph TR7 and Dolomite models IIRC. There are two different drum diameters though so you'll need to know which you have (I'm afraid I can't remember them offhand). The usual Triumph specialists should be able to help - in addition to Jigsaw there is Quiller, Canley Classics, Rimmer Bros, Moss, and I'm sure several others that I've forgotten. Crudders
JampJ Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Tried Rimmers already, didn't have a clue! Then again, depends who picks up the phone. In the Haynes for the Ital, 8" were used for the cars and 9" for the vans. Did Caterham use both? Mine are 8" Cheers John JFDI (Just F*****g Do It)
Dee Pee Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Ooo.... I can see my spare, Caterham braced, live axle, little mileage, going up in value....
