k80rum Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Do any gurus know whether the standard SLR road exhaust (that's used with a cat or 4-2-1 bypass pipe) is a direct replacement for the 1.6K roadsport one used with a 4-1 collector Darren E Website and Emerald maps library Superlight R #54
Irrelevant Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 IIRC, SLRs have 2.5" exhaust, normal 1.6 is less, maybe 2.25". Think there's a standard one down the left hand side of my garage if you want to compare it. Let me know if you take it.

Mr Locust Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Not unless you fit the manifold that goes with it. If you are fitting the whole system you just need to open up the hole in the side skin for four pipes to exit the bodywork. Ian Green and Silver Roadsport 😬
k80rum Posted November 26, 2007 Author Posted November 26, 2007 Ahh, that's worth knowing. Thanks a million Ian. Darren E Website and Emerald maps library Superlight R #54
