SLR69 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I am about to fit my hood for the first time but being naive I am not sure whether the front or the rear hood stick goes in the velcro tube part ? Perhaps someone can enlighten me ? Thanks Stuart
Stationary M25 Traveller Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 No pain of hood sticks with the JJ half hood .... but then again it does smack me on the head when I pass a van or truck on the motorway ... not that this would trouble you on Guernsey !! 7 related photos
SLR69 Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 I have got a JJ half hood and they are great but in torrential rain a half hood is somewhat limited. Edited by - SLR69 on 21 Nov 2007 20:26:06
rj Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 in torrential rain a half hood is somewhat limited. Any hood on a Caterham is... Drill holes in the floor instead. I've done that and have managed to never having seen more than two inches of standing water inside the car.
simon redshaw Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Don't waste ya time with the old style roof... Get a "soft Bits" hood. Better design, easy to use and no need for hood sticks! Get the misses to buy it for christmas! 😬
The Boy Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Another vote for Half Hood Its finally finished :-) 3500 miles completed. Back at CC now :-(
