scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 REAR WINGS - REDUCED The only used items here. Been drilled and have been fitted to a car. Both structurally A1. One is in VGC, the other appears to have been lacquered and has dulled (perfect if you're painting). Pic HERE Now £210 delivered. RiF INTERCHANGEABLE AEROSCREEN - Sold to Will Glynn *thumbup* For narrow body car. Never been fitted or drilled. Has a thin scratch running across the face, but otherwise shiny. No mirrors. Pic HERE £145 delivered. RiF DASH - Sold to Gary (Garibaldi) For narrow body car. Never been fitted or drilled and as new. RiF sold it to me as a slight second. He tried to point out what was wrong with it, but I couldn't see it and still don't to this day (those who know RiF's Quality Control checks will know how fussy he is... very refreshing!). If I recall it right, I think he said there was a slight ripple in the finish in one small area. Otherwise, there is a light scratch, but still what I would describe as VGC. Pic HERE £90 delivered. NOSECONE - Sold to Stu (sforshaw) For narrow body car. Never been fitted or drilled and as new. Has 'Caterham' (the word) moulding at the front. Pic HERE £350 delivered SILL PROTECTORS - Sold to Tom (TomB) Never been fitted or drilled and as new. Pic HERE £22 delivered. And I think that's it 😬 Edited by - scooter on 20 Nov 2007 15:52:05
TomB Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Please can I have first dibs on the sill protectors? Are they CC or RIF ones?
jingars Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I have been told that I am upsetting someone's Christmas plans by expressing an interest on this thread, so I am withdrawing my dibs on the aeroscreen. Jon. Edited by - jingars on 16 Nov 2007 12:42:20
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Dibs noted. The sill protectors came from Caterham, but don't let that put you off (!). Even they can't get something that simple wrong! 😬
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Scratch HERE 2 x 20cm (ish) thin scratches. Edited by - scooter on 16 Nov 2007 12:55:24
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted November 16, 2007 Leadership Team Posted November 16, 2007 Scott - I'll take the nose assuming that it's an original Caterham one? Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted November 16, 2007 Leadership Team Posted November 16, 2007 Scott - which wing is A1, which wing is dull? Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
jingars Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Scooter, I am a novice owner, but I am pretty sure that http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2177/2036820289_1176342cce.jpg?v=0 is actually not an aeroscreen
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 It's a new design of Aeroscreen... didn't you know.... ! Ooops! Updated with the right pic HERE! PS - Those lights HERE are also available. CF effect. 3.75. Brand new, but not my cup of tea, so £60 delivered if anyone's interested? Edited by - scooter on 16 Nov 2007 12:43:17
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 'Tis indeed Stu. Dibs duly noted. The 'dull' one is the one at the bottom (not sure which side, but will check later). Ps - Those light brackets never did arrive. Any chance you coould give the Royal Mail a call. I tried, but was told they couldn't deal with me (!). Don't worry if it goes nowhere - these things happen!
Garibaldi Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 scooter Can i have first dibs on the dash please...... Gary
TomB Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Stu & I live reasonably near each other so you can combine the delivery if thats easier and maybe reduce postage a bit.
Julian Thompson Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 I'll have the nose if Stu decides against it.
Blade Runner Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Scooter Can I have 2nd dibs on the Dash if Gariboldi does not want it. Thanks Trevor PINK and Proud and LOUD
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 All acknowledged. PS - Sorry Julian, I clean forgot that you were looking for a nose a few months ago.

Julian Thompson Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 No problem at all Scott. I was guilty of doing some work today and not spending enough time watching the for sale board :-))
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted November 16, 2007 Area Representative Posted November 16, 2007 Interested in the Aero if still for sale. How noticeable is the scratch though? Nick
scooter Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Aero still for sale Nick. The scratch looks worse on the pic than in the flesh.
Phil Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 scooter Who made the rear wings please? Helping and encouraging others rather than putting them down.
scooter Posted November 18, 2007 Author Posted November 18, 2007 Sorry - I've no idea Phil. I bought them used.
Area Representative finmac Posted November 19, 2007 Area Representative Posted November 19, 2007 Hi Scooter Was in Edinburgh last weekend, shame I didnt look at BC - could have popped over and had a look at the rear wings in the flesh. Any chance of a couple of direct pics of the wings to get an idea how the faded one looks? cheers Finlay
