Mark - or anyone - can you remind me of the noise regs for goodwood 🤔

you sure it isn't 105db static at 3/4 revs and 101db drive by?

 

- that's what it was at the BHMC sprint meeting in 2006... which my car dutifully failed by quite a margin as it's OK up to 6500 then goes ballistic at 7200 and despite being economical with the truth and giving a 10000 rev limit I still couldn't get it below 110 😔

That is what the event organiser told me although I am still to receive confirmation in writing.

I think Peterg is correct. I've done lots of sprints at Goodwood (in a single seater, mainly) all at 105 dB.

When I went to be tested there 3 months ago it was a static 98dB at 3/4 max revs or 105dB for the more expensive "noisy" days. I think those were the figures for driveby too.
