millsn Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 how is the thing attached? stuck on? My nosecond is being resprayed shortly and I want to remove the badge before i send it ideally, I'm tempted to leave TSK to remove it as I can't see a way to remove it that's not obviously going to damage the badge
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted November 4, 2007 Area Representative Posted November 4, 2007 Unless there is an obvious nut on a stud through the fibreglass, its stuck on. I would leave it to TSK to do the honours. Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!!
I.Mupferit Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 If you want to do it yourself it is dead easy using some nylon fishing line rather like a cheese wire to pull under the badge and lift it off without damaging the paint. Better than trying to prise it off as that will surely cause damage. I've used this method a couple of times with great success. philwaters Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Does this mean you've picked a colour now Nigel? Phil Waters
millsn Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Just need a fisherman now! thanks Brent. Still not conviced on colour Phil
Fishy Dave Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I would use the fishing wire trick, but before hand warm up the badge with a hair drier to soften the glue. New owner of BOSS
