ECR Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Trying to fit a (gold) dry sump pump and the small thermostat housing outlet is within 15mm of the dry sump pump scavenge pipe. This means that fitting the 5/8" 90 degree bend that exits here is not possible. Is there a different Thermostat housing or some other way to overcome the problem ? I cant believe that it's a force it in solution ....
oilyhands Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Err yes..it is... You could try shortening the stub on the outlet.. Oily
ECR Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 Hmmmm It just about fits but it's not pretty. Given that it's a bespoke (?) dry sump pump I would have expected a better solution. Thanks for the reply, at least I know that I haven't missed the obvious
