Value of ax blocked supersprint engine?

My AX blocked supersprint has to come out for a clutch change, which has prompted me to consider doing the raceline zetec install, rather than put the old engine back in.

 

So, whats it worth?

 

I'm just trying to do the maths.

 

It is a 16K miles unmodified supersprint, not moded for unleaded, it has had a welded repair for a broken stud mounting on the centre exhaust. it had a new Aldon set up fitted at 14k and a new water pump. It used about 1/2 litre of oil in the 1800 miles that i have done on it,

 

I would be selling the complete instalation including the 4-1 exhaust system and the twin 40's.

I sold mine on ebay in May for £980. That was without twin 40's (retained) or the exhaust which I sold for £200.

 

My engine had done 23k, did not burn or leak oil and was totally standard. That it was in good order seemed irrelavent as the guy was going to rebuild it as a real screamer.

 

I would recommend selling the carbs and exhaust seperately.
