having now upgraded to 250 horses or there abouts (rolling road at emerald on november16th)with dva,s capable hands, thought i would up spec the rears to help get the extra dobbins on the floor, so purchased a set of csr rear wheels and cr500 boots longer wheel bolts and spacers (5mm) looks about right for clearence, so far all very good, seems far more stable under power,(again only 5000 revs ) till after rolling road. and boy imho looks the doggies dodas *smokin*but what pressure would be good so far on 24psi rears and 20 fronts. car is an r300 sv so have played with suspension settings for road use, later after engins run in will adjust for track use, front wheels ars standard 15inc with cr500s in standard r300 width any sugestions ?

I'm interested in doing something similar for my SV. Do the CSR wheels look similar to the R300 fronts you have and were the 5mm spacers necessary to clear calipers or de Dion ears or something or was it just to increase the track width? Finally, did you get the spacers from Caterham or elsewhere please? *thumbup*

Don't suppose you have any pics do you?

hi there yes csr wheels are the same as R300 ie anthrasite 10 spokes , brought from caterham with cr500 boots but of course wider mine are 15 inch not 13,s spacers because a slight rubbing of the boots and center caps not fitting , came from demon tweeks 6 quid and off the shelf ie deliverd next day. wheel bolts to give more thread due to spacer come from caterham requires rear hubs and brakes to be pulled apart , easy job ,takes time though and hubs seem to ford items, demon tweeks on the spot with this regards:jap it seems though that caterham say this is not poss to do but it can be done . no pickys as i am overseas for another month 🙆🏻 but it looks and imho works well with a wee bit of fetteling *cool*

the CSR fronts are made in the same mould as the std Rxxx wheels. they are however machined for use on the CSR to provide an offset of ET40.

There is a thread on fitting the CSR rear wheels to the std SV, and I can say they DO fit.

you would need a pair of std Rxxx wheels for the fronts on an SV.
