gwiddicombe Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 I'm in the middle of my build and I am connecting the engine electrics. This quote from the build manual is about a connection on the RHS of the car. "Attach the black 2 pin plug adjacent to the grey 14 pin plug, to the corresponding socket on the vehicle wiring loom". Now, on my car the black 2 pin plug, although large enough for 2 pins, only actually has one pin to one side of the socket (i.e., it appears that one pin is missing). It's hard to take a picture of this, but I hope this makes sense. So: 1) Should there actually be two pins? 2) If there should be two pins, how do I go about fixing this? Will the car start (when I get around to that) with my current configuration? I'm not clear from the build manual what this conenctions is for. G My Caterham Build Diary available here
gwiddicombe Posted October 14, 2007 Author Posted October 14, 2007 Excellent...was hoping that would be the case, but it was mentioned in the build manual. Cheers. G My Caterham Build Diary available here
