Mrs Kipper Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I drove the car for more than 5 minutes 😬 Mrs K
FlymoFraser Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I thought Sunday was great in the end, much more inclusive than the sprint would have been. Got to go round on a fast lap, hoping to get some inside info in case we ever do sprint there but was informed it was a different circuit. All I can say about the lap is my fingers still hurt and I'd like to see him brake that late with 1a tyres! Didn't go on the parade lap because I didn't get my act together quick enough, looked like they let you have your heads and quite a few laps, very jealous Oh and I ate a delicious sausage bun and learnt how to take the timing belt cover off. Roll on next year. R287 Mobile Jaffa Cake- It's black at both ends with a smashing orangey bit in the middle here
Mrs Kipper Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 But I wasn't in Norfolk ☹️ I was on the A1 and A428. Had a lovely day - met up with with a fellow sprinter for lunch. Neil - glad you had a good time. Mrs K
Mrs Kipper Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Neil No need to apologise. Mrs K
Tam Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I also drove the car for more than 5 minutes 😬 In fact I drove it all the way to Norfolk on Friday, out on the Southwold Breakfast Blat on Saturday and all the way back from Norfolk this morning. By far my longest ever drive in the seven 😬 😬 Glad you had a good weekend Mrs K. Neil, well done on winning the Novices Championship. Hope to see you both at the awards dinner. Tam Drowned Rat Racing

Top Cat Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I managed the longest ever drive in my new car - despite having it in June and it covering 3k miles since then, most of that was done when Nick took the car to the 'Ring and Stelvio Pass. So now I can say, I have done a few miles in it and also got a few track laps out of it too before he takes it off again! Great to get to the 50th and Hethel to see everyone TC Superlight R #88 just as it says on the plate 😬
