which filter/what plugs?

can anyone tell me specically what car the new sigma engine is out of? ie Fiesta/Focus? and what year?

I'm trying to find out what oil filter to buy (without buying one with Caterham stamped on it). Also, can anyone suggest which spark plugs I should use? if other than the ones recommended by Ford.

I've no problem with buying these parts from CC but I would prefer to be able to source them locally.

Martin - are you saying the oil filer is a Caterham branded part? If it is not then you should be able to note the part numbers and just take them to your local motor factor who will x ref them against other manufacturers.

 

Re plugs - just check what is in there and then take the ford p/n to your factor too. they should be able to x ref against ford numbers if they are any good

Cheers Mav, I didn't realise the filter would have had a part number on it, guess I should looked have really.

 

I'd still like to know what the sigma is out of though.
