Matching emerald to K series immobiliser

Having recently upgraded my Emerald ecu to the new Emerald (the one with 3 switchable maps) I had to re-activate the immobiliser function and sync it with my rover blipper. When I did this originally on my old emerald it sync'ed straight away without any probs and the immobiliser worked just fine. This time round however I cannot get the ECU to "see" the immobiliser signal and have therefore not been able to get the immobiliser to operate properly.....

 

Any help/ideas as to what I can look at to get this fixed...???

Talk to Emerald. Karl had some issues with the immobilser function on the K3 ECU for a while so the function was turned off. It is still there in the laptop software so you think its not synchronising correctly. The latest firmware has it enabled again I also had issues with the narrow band lambda input which were sorted in the update.

 

SWMBO has advised that I have an e-mail with another firmware upgrade which addresses immobiliser issues waiting when I finally get home ( *wavey*Hello Dear 😬).

Ian - Thanks for that..... it makes perfect sense....

 

I am booked in for another RR session next month, so I will ask Dave to load up the newer firmware then...
