1980 Mini and Caterham lightswitches compatible?

Just a few days before we set out, my lightswitch is really giving up. Have to fiddle with it quite a bit to get normal dipped lights on. There aren't, of course, any 7 specialists in Finland but there is at least one place selling stuff for the Mini. The light switches sure look the same, so could I just pop in there to get one?

The switches are very easy to remove from the dash and then *quite* easy to open up (if you are careful). I suspect that a quick clean up and maybe a wipe of the contacts with some fine wet&dry would solve the problem.
