Hi, my VVC engine (EU2) has started to idle higher than normal (it is stock ECU) when warm. It idles at about 1,100-1,200 rpm and I'm wondering if it is due to the temp sender to the ECU being up the chuff! Any thoughts or ideas? I haven't reset the idle yet and whilst typing this have just thought of that. Any other ideas? *wavey*

That does help about the air as it's dry sumped so I will check the blank offs I put on. The thing is it seems to idle and do everything else well, it's just a bit high. Will reset IACV and see what happens.

Cheers...at least I'm not going mad and there isn't anything else!

As Mick says - maybe carefully take it out and clean it - avoiding the comedy 'spring flies off and fires across garage/gravel drive' moment.... *smile*

Could be hundreds of other things aswell though - still, its a start!
