Petrolhead Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Three questions: 1) What size is the master cylinder on a R500. I know there are two that Caterham supply one have a large bore. 2) What size are the pistons in the std Caterham 4 pots 3) Did a trackday a Croft. have an execellent day but on one sessions I got a spongy pedal. Now I would think that my brake fluid is ready for a change as its not been done. What brake fluid would you suggest. One that will handle the heat better than std? R5 no 65 😬 Edited by - petrolhead on 3 Sep 2007 10:41:42

taffyracer Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I'd second that SRF is superb gear but is pricey at circa £40/L, less if you speak to me , but, I started using the AP 660 this season and found it really good and alot cheaper. http://www.xlmotorsport....doing really badly in PS1! Petrolhead Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 Ok, I think I have the answer to 1 and 2 1) The R500 used the std mater cylinder - 0.70" (17.8mm) 2) According to AP the piston dia is 1.5" (38.1mm) R5 no 65 😬 Edited by - Petrolhead on 3 Sep 2007 11:40:41
