Oil pressure sender for 1400SS

As above, when my local garage fitted a new alternator for me at the same time as MOTing the car they didn't disconnect the oil pressure sender and so ended up pulling the wire out of the ring connector. Upon fixing this I over-tightened the tiny bolt and since then the oil pressure has been all over the place according to the guage due to a poor connection.

 

I've tried a repair today only to completely knacker the sender unit.

 

So, does anybody have one of these they can sell me quickly 🤔

 

I'm going down to Dunsfold next weekend and wanted to get it sorted before then if possible.

 

I've looked on the Caterham parts store online but can only see them for post 1996 cars and mines a 1994.

Think Automotive can supply you all the parts you need to go mechanical including the new gauge for less than the cost of a new VDO sender.

 

Next day delivery too and a doddle to fit. I think it all cost me about £40 to do
