Apollo Tank sender thread

Hi

 

Any one used the Racetech oil preassure/temperature gauges (mechanical ones) and know the thread size and pitch of the sender mounted in the side of the Apollo

Can't remember the exact thread, but it's the same tapered thread as in the water rail of a K-Series, as they use an identical sender.

 

Update: Just done a search, and it said 1/8" NTPF

Doesn't mean you can't drill and tap it bigger tho - mine is 3/8 BSP for a mechanical guage - but that is just about right on the limit for the ali boss let into the side.

Just spoken to Racetech (very helpfull)

 

They can supply a sandwich plate ro accept both preassure and temperature senders of the mechanical type for the dual two inch gauge

Caterham are out of stock of the VX wet sump preassure sender at the moment
