Zetec tuning

What set up should be run on 40 DCOE's on a 1.8 Zetec?

Mine is running standard cams, I do have a pair of 2.0 litre cams to go in, but my immediate problem is very lumpy running at anything less than 3000 which I believe is due to the 36mm chokes fitted by a previous owner. I don't know what the jets are.

 

I know the recommended chokes are 34mm, but I can't find any guidance on the jets, etc.

I think Ammo is your man here, he's run a hot Zetec and he knows a bit about tuning engines.

I have Throttle bodys on my 1,800 Zetec Caterham so I can't help, but My son has just had his 1,800 Zetec westfield Tuned at AB Garage, so I just rang him in Toulouse and he says they have fitted 34 chokes but thats all he can remember, so if you can wait till tomorrow its in my Garage I will get you all the jet sizes, or failing that you could have it rolling roaded there they are really good as Dave Morris will recomend them as well and they are cheep 01244 537701. As for performace tuneing Ammo is the man he did my cylinder head and go me a set of cams and it Flys now and its not bad on fuel ether about 35 mpg on a run thanks to Dave Walker at Emerald, if tomorrow is any help for the jet sizes give me a ring 07970 663442 Regards Paul
