Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 29, 2007 Leadership Team Posted August 29, 2007 Very good condition - has only been fitted to my '99 Dedion 7 for around 18 months. No grip tape or the like as is often added, just an original bar £35 plus postage if needed. Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
Howard R Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Stu 1st dibs please - if it will fit a '03 live axle car with superlight cage Green Fireblade Pilot
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 29, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted August 29, 2007 I haven't a clue This was fitted to my car with a Roadsport cage (diagonal top bar) and shares the same front mounting bolt. Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
k80rum Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I'm guessing it's a RHS one Stu? ☹️ just answered my own question - I glimpsed it on your website . Bother.. Darren E Website and Emerald maps library Superlight R #54 Edited by - k80rum on 29 Aug 2007 11:09:39
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 29, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted August 29, 2007 I don't think there's a LH one available that'll fit around the silencer Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
k80rum Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Must be the side impact bar I'm thinking of... I've never been sure which is which. side impact bar sounds like it should be the part that protects the leg area (so A frame towards screen) and rear wheel intrusion should be the bit that protects the neck/shoulder (so rollbar towards screen). very Thanks Stu Darren E Website and Emerald maps library Superlight R #54
Area Representative Nick Chan Posted August 29, 2007 Area Representative Posted August 29, 2007 Maybe a little off topic but perhaps the left hand one you are thinking about is the removal diagnoals that fit where the passenger seat is? This isn't the petty strut which fits from the FIA bar down to the fixing point by the passenger's left knee but a separate triangulation set up that (from memory) fixes to the mounting point by the FIA bar left leg (viewed from the rear), the point by the passenger knee and then another point on top of the tunnel top. Used with the cage, it provides significant triangulation protection to the driver but does preculde a passenger being with you! If you want a pic of the setup and I will dig one out. Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!!
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 29, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted August 29, 2007 The rear wheel intrusion bar runs from the front A-frame mounting to the cage mounting near the scuttle. There's good picture on Myles's site here Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 31, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted August 31, 2007 Howard YHMB First dibs to Howard, but we need to check that it'll fit his car. Otherwise boing 😬 Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
TopQ1967 Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Next dibs please. I have a 99 car myself. They have the A-frame mounts under the rail. So I think it will not be useful for the others above me! Regards Quirin
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 1, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted September 1, 2007 Quirin - we should be able to check whether it fits Howard's car early this week Stu.
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 11, 2007 Author Leadership Team Posted September 11, 2007 Still for sale - won't fit a Howard's live axle car! Quirin - YHM Stu. www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬 Edited by - sforshaw on 11 Sep 2007 20:02:40
