Anyone remember from their dyno plots what sort of power approx they make at 5500 / 6000 / 6500rpm, with the 1444 cams fitted 🤔

Cause thats where my map runs out at the moment, feels nice & torquey then seems to get into its stride big time around the 5700ish mark 😬 Although its a map done for the previously fitted 2180 cams, seems to run pretty good on it *thumbup*

Richard Andersons 1.9K with 1444 cams made 252 bhp @ 8600 rpm and 174lbft @ 6085 rpm on Steve Greenald's rollers recently. When are you getting yours mapped?

My DVA 1.9 with 1444's but a "standard" VHPD crank and rods made 258.5 bhp @ 8179rpm and 166.9lbft @ 6515 at Emerald last year.

We've done no fiddling with the induction or exhaust yet - it's on an R500 4-1 at present and the general view is that a 4-2-1 setup will find me some more torque once I can stop driving it to do some back to back tests.

Looking at what you say Darren, mine really picks up from 6k (170bhp) to 6.5k(210bhp) and then on from there 😬

Hi Darren,

Depending on exhaust configuration (4-1 manifolds have a dip around 5000-5500) yours should do between 165 and 180BHP, Richard Anderson, David Ward and Alex Minchin's engines all have pretty much identical specs to yours, but Martin Whitcher's has larger inlet valves and a bit more torque as a result. In my experience Steve's rollers tend to read around 4-5% higher than Dave Walkers.

Let me know how it goes.
