S47zz Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Wanted for 1970 - S4 Lotus 7 Original wooden Gearknob. Bonnet lock & catch Centre armrest. Moulded plastic lower part of sidescreen - damaged one Ok so I can use it for a pattern.
JACK FLASH Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Hallo, When I bought my Caterham Twin Cam in 2005, it had a wooden Lotus gearknob. According to my mechanic, who is a specialist in historic Lotus and Ford cars, the gearknob is certainly an original Lotus item and not a modern replica. So perhaps ... my gearknob comes from a S4 ? ! If you send me a mail, I can reply with a picture of this gearknob. I' ve been looking for 2 years for an original black plastic gearknob and some other classic items for my car. See the topic I posted last week. Perhaps you can help me out ? Cheers
S47zz Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 All the above Still needed, also need:- For S4 Original type gearlever gaiter [Rubber] , or any info as to what car it was originally fitted too.
Martyn Heesom Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 The gaiter part number is common with that fitted to the S2 europa (050 F 6000). These are listed in Paul Matty's catalogue.
S47zz Posted September 12, 2007 Author Posted September 12, 2007 Martyn Nice one I'll get one from Paul Matty *thumbup*
