Barrie Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Hi Guys Could anyone post or e-mail me a copy of the alternator heat shield for an 87 kent powered car.(just gone through my first alternator) many thanks 😬 Barrie.
rj Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Anything more than 1000 miles per alternator is because you're not pushing it enough. If it's a K-series that is 😳
JampJ Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Didn't know there was one. I assumed people just fabricated their own. Cheers J&JÂ JFDI (Just F*****g Do It)

RiF Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 We have 2 types. 1 is an alluminised glass cloth that we sew a needled glass into to make a sack in various thicknesses. This is used with our exhaust shield. The other is a more rigid glass cloth (still flexible), one side ally faced that can be stuck to areas to reduce heat, we use this in the engine bay against our carbon. We can sew the edges if required. RiF Driving one of the first Duratec 7, and building CA07BON for Henrietta 😬 😬 😬.for pictures of 7 and carbon andCA07BON
