Molecular--Bob
Having just destroyed my second horn switch in 9 months, has anyone used a push type switch that fits the same hole? If you have what did you use and where did it come from? Edited to add 1990 car Thanks in advance Ian b Edited by - molecular--bob on 31 Jul 2007 13:32:
jeremybu
Mine had a push button when I bought it, but I snapped the flasher and replaced it with a black starter button style from Caterham(cheaper elsewher I think). The hole needed opening though. Gradually DVAd SV - GJ02JLO - shake that big booty
Stationary M25 Traveller
I was thinking of replacing my std horn button (you have to push it square-on) with a black headed version of the red starter button. I got my red starter button from RS Components for about £8.30 + VAT (free P&P), which is considerably cheaper than from CC = same part. I'm sure RS do a black one - the hole is 22.5mm dia for the starter button, I'm not sure what the horn button mounting hole dia is. A colleague made a hole punch from a couple of bits of stainless, which worked a treat on the ali dash. ****************** And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking... And racing around to come up behind you again. new link to photos
