Archie Procter
Bit of a 20 questions, I'm gradually clearing out the garage in readiness for moving house, and I keep finding bits of Caterham Anyway I came across a couple of things I don't recognise, probably stuff that came with my first Caterham that I've never even looked at. Can anyone tell me what they are exactly? First one looks like some kind of weather gear, and the second is clearly a Master Cylinder, but I had the uprated AP racing Master Cylinder in the VX, and this doesn't look like it. Nor does it look like the standard one in my current K series. here Thanks in advance
Barry
First one is a roof with no rear section.
Beelzebub
What I can tell you is that you need to do something with your lawn. It's in a shocking mess, what with all those weeds Verdone would clear that lot up, although you'll probably need two applications six weeks apart 😬 Glad I could be of help
Graham Perry
The roof strangely doesnt have any clear 3/4 panels in it.
Archie Procter
Bit more information: Roof indeed has no clear panels at all, no zip for a rear panel, and 3 holes on what would be the bit that sits on the rollbar, plus a further hole at the very rear corner on each side. You can just about make them out in the photo. I had worked out it was a roof of some kind, just no idea what it would be from or when. The Master Cylinder has AP and Lockheed written on it, if that helps. And who says it's my lawn?
rj
I think the MC is just an early version of the standard cylinder. /regin
MartinWoodham
pic 1 is one side of a large T-shirt for a rubber fetishist. pic 2 is sort sort of weird cheese container on top of a length of old drainpipe. 😬 Seriously, pic 2 must be from a car with a steeply angled bulkhead - the top of the reservoir is clearly intended to be level, so the cylinder itself is at quite an angle. Not off a 7 then? Martin Aero'd supersported ex-Roadsports B...anyone got a cheap LSD?
Sheds Moderator
Dunno about the MC but the half-hood affair looks saleable, lots of people want these and you'd stay dryish inside.
