anthonym
By this I mean to ask if it is regulated at 12 volts? I want to plug in a router that says it is 12v, but in view of another thread I am wondering if the 12v supply via the cig socket varies with the alternator. I suspect it IS regulated (which I suppose means limited to 12v max) because all the other devices we plug in there are expecting 12 volts, not 13.8 or 14. Still stuck with 11v supply to camcorder problem if anyone can help me with that. Anthony
davef
I don't believe it is regulated, just connected directly to the battery/alternator, so 13-14 volts. For it's intended use (lighting ciggies) it doesn't need to be regulated. Dave
