McBreadhead
Just measured the cylinder bores on my xflow and get 84.78, 84.65, 84.75 and 84.65mm. It's supposed to be a 1760cc with 85mm bores. Is 85mm what I quote the piston manufacturer or do I use the range? Unsure whether to go 'standard' 85mm rings with Burtons (3 rings measuring 1, 1.2 and 2.75mm thickness) or bespoke Arias via the US at ££££££'s more plus long lead time? apjenkins
Nick, Me again! Have you considered 'total seal' rings. They are American but not silly money and are readily available. Thier distribitor is 'performance unlimited', Unit 3, Chessingham park, Dunnington, Yorl. YO19 5SE. Tel 01904 489332 Fax 01904 488355. web -www.performanceunlimited.co.uk Not sure of the 'Total seal' web site but I'm sure you would find them on a search (or a link from the above). If ringing Performance Unlimited, do speak to the 'Organ Grinder' (sorry don't know his name)! { Disclamer...I have no links to this Company etc.} Best of luck, @ndrew
