Setok
Looking for ideas how to fasten the rear of a DIY bikini top. I bought some velcro which I thought might work by pulling over the rollbar and tightening, but I'm not sure if velcro is strong enough to hold it in place? Anyone with experience? --- Kristoffer Lawson

Kevsta
I would presume that some velcro that wrapped might be sufficient (like on the hood bag), or possibly re-useable cable ties? Poppers?
Colin Mill
I use heavy duty velcro (here) to hold the doors shut on mine and it works fine. There are quite a lot of grades of velcro and similar products. Some are so strong that you have to use a blunt knife to help separate the halves so I'm sure there would be a grade to do the job. Stationary M25 Traveller
With the incredible tension in the half hood at 90mph, I would imagine that velcro would be hopeless ?? It is like a drum skin. Ask Pamela Anderson how she keeps her bikini top fastened ! ****************** And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking... And racing around to come up behind you again. photos
Setok
Kevsta, I know you were only joking with that particular link, but I did think buckles or some kinds of heavy duty clips could work too. Just a good bit more work to implement. I think I'd prefer the velcro from an ease of use perspective, but still not sure if it would hold. --- Kristoffer Lawson
