Chaz23
Fitted a Q/R system today without problems. Went for a quick drive steering felt a little loose so when I got back had a quick look - ahh thats the problem clap is a bit loose went to tighten - grub screw is stuck fast so tried the clamp bolts and one snapped! So I need to get a new clamp cover and grub screew but more importantly I need to get the bolts. The question now is can CC parts get the parts to me before Saturday other wise I can not go to Toyota's HQ as my car is now off the road - ahh! If anyone from CC parts is reading this I will phone you first thing in the morning and would like to order said parts with next day delivery (if possible). mav
you should be fine, asuming they have them in stock (they usually do). There will be a premium of the next day delivery though...
Chaz23
That's what I'd assume and I don't care about the cost - its a case of no fun at weekend if I don't get the car fixed

stevefoster
On fitting the new clamp don't just tighten up the bolts and then wind in the grub - it will never bite enough. Put the grub 0.5mm or so proud to preload it, and then wind up the bolts so the grub is forced in good and proper. I would use Copparslip disassembly paste the upper part of the clamp / bolt heads and threadlock on the bolt / grub threads.
