Lighting Problems

I have sealed beams and one of the dip beams went the other week it started to flicker and went out, but not the main beam.

I got myself another lamp unit and no better.

On looking inside the 3 way connection box it is slightly melted and the red wire was loose.

I also cleaned up another connection box in the engine bay.

I got another set of complete leads from Red Line but the connectors are not interchangeable .

MOT next week, there must be a simple fix to get it through.

 

Is it an earth problem but not an easy fix
