Set up changes now I've added an LSD

Any thoughts on this - having driven it round Brands in the wet this week, I found that I had considerably more back end grip than previously. However the understeer was much worse. I tried slacking off the front roll bar (adjustable version) as much as possible. The rear ARB is set to the standard second softest, so I guess I should probably stiffen that up.

1.8 k series, wide track, Yoko 48's at 21lbs hot...

My experience with a pre and post LSD car is that very little (if any!) change is needed to suspension set up, provided as Dave has alluded to, that the ramps/preload are set correctly (plate type only).....If they're not it will make it rather snappy at the back or so I've been told. I was concerned that I would get more understeer but had no probs, it was just a far nicer drive out of corners

I'm just checking on the ramp question - it certainly wasn't 'snappy' at the back, in fact the opposite really! I suspect that a dry track day is needed to get a fair comparison!

a diff on Sierra ramp angles (ie not adjusted) will "push on" on entry or turn in to the corners as the inside rear wheel will try to turn at the same rate as the outside rear wheel in the corner *smile*

when adjusted you will still have a little of this behaviour.
