Trev G
Got my 1st sprint coming up this weekend and surprise surprise rain is forecast.Do I put on my brand new super sticky ACB10s or opt for my half worn narrower CR500s? Any advice much appreciated.
Jason Plato
cr500 smaller contact patch = more load on the contact patch plus the cr's may cut through the water. The acb's are useless untill they get some decent heat into them. But if its raining then the bloke with sticky Avon wets will win here is C7 TOP Taffia Area Rep
Mark Durrant
I agree with Dave go with the CR500's especially as its your first sprint and let us know how you get on Mark D Comp Sec
Trev G
Thanks guys , looks like its the cr500s then (although I might try on the acb10s for one practice just as a comparison). Was about to load it on to trailer this morning when it seemed to go off a couple of cylinders.I took it for a blast round the block and it seemed to clear itself but it gave me a taste of whats to come (still had acb10s on and pouring rain).A bit hairy but good fun . Cheers again.
