lowlander
Hi there, Most of the switches on the dash do not light up when the lights are turn on, although the swicthes themselves work. In fact only the sidelight / headlamp switch and the hazard switch light up at night. I'm assuming that I just need to replace the switches themselves and all will be well? All the best. Casbar
Mine are the same, the headlight one works as does the rear fog, but after that its a bit hit and miss. Never really bothered with it.

DaveMorris
It may be that the wires to the switch lighting have come off. If you get a mirror and have a look under the dash (better than breaking your back trying to look directly) you should see additional small spade connections on the sides of the switches. These can easily fall off. Note that sometimes when taking a switch out (for replacement or inspection) the illumination spade comes into contact with the dash which earths it and blows the fuse. Could be worth checking that this hasn't happened (though I can't remember which fuse it is), Dave. X-flow(er) power now resting. Trying Vx for a change. Bricol
Some of the switches only light up when on - such as the heated screen. Bri
Tony Whitley
The bulbs may have blown. If you're a cheapskate like me you can take the switches apart and replace the bulbs. If you're an idiot like me you buy the wrong bulbs... 😔
Bricol
If you're a proper cheapskate like me, you take them apart and use the bulbs from switches you half-inched from scrap yard Marinas, Minis and Allegros 20 yrs ago . . . knew they would come in handy!
