k80rum
I don't expect anyone's got one laying around, but with BC, you never know The primary pipe I'm after is the 2nd one back on the engine. It's for an EU2 K series and is of the 4-1 type (car's a SuperlightR) Darren E Website K80RUM and Emerald maps library Superlight R #
Irrelevant
Why do you need it? If you have broken it and need it repaired, I know a good welder, or I could even blow holes in it myself 😳 . . . my small welder is set up for stainless at the moment. k80rum
Cheers Adam It's probably not essential to do anything *really*, but while i was refitting them last night I decided to unlag them because the wrap was falling apart. Underneath the wrap on primary no2 I noticed the tube has taken a biggish dent about an inch in size and it's had enough force to deform the tube by about 10mm 😳 I think it must've been from an off I had a few years back where the exhaust system took a fair smack. The can was replaced during the repairs but because the primaries seemed okay, no-one bothered checking underneath the lagging. It must be affecting backpressure a bit, cos it's a fair indentation. It's airtight at the moment but I'm guessing the metal will fatigue a bit quicker too. Is it worth patching the section, or slicing it out and inserting a new section do you think? Maybe it's not worth bothering with at all, until something happens - it *is* still serviceable after all..
