Greg Park
Well it looks like the MBE 906 ECU on my 1996 Vauxhall HPC with Carbs needs replacing. I may move to throttle bodies in the future, so what is the best ECU to upgrade to? Should I be looking for an ECU that can be programmed? The other option (and cheaper I'd imagine) is to source a 906.
Paul McKenzie
Greg, Why not stick with carbs, get a throttle pot and loom, a programmable DTA ECU and go to mapped 3D ignition? I'm sure DTA will also have an ECU to cover Fuelling Control if you go to throttle bodies later on Paul
alan c
My ECU is OK but what sort of improvements would you expect to see by adding this on a car with carbs. Also is it difficult if the engine has already been modified? Alan
Ian R
I might have an unused 906 as i've just upgraded to TBs and and SBD ECU. If your interested I'll take a look in the box of old parts at the weekend? It's off a 92 VX with 45s. Would that be a 906??
