TOM91ACE
Yes I have watched those two on Ebay, the blue one has sold twice already. Each time it reappears it says 'Last time it will be listed' the red one now says the same. A bit like Frank Sinatras retirement. The blue one had a buy it now price of £10500 last time. Do the French regulations mean that a car over 25 years old is easier to import, that is to say next year does it change to 1983.The reason for asking is that I have a 1983 Twin Cam that I am thinking of changing for a newer car. Do similar regulations apply to other parts of Europe. Regards,Tom.
MusCat
If it is a scam - the scammer is using the sellers profile. The seller has sold over 8900 items with 99.4% positive - that’s 8850 happy customers - so I doubt they would risk that for a scam on a Caterham. There is also none of the "don't contact me via e-bay" stuff you usually get stolen profiles. Also the prices are sensible; scammers usually have prices that are too good to be true (funnily enough). If it is a scam it's a good one but it's pretty easy to find out if it's genuine or not by asking to see the car. You'd be an idiot to hand over any money before seeing it in the flesh.
