w7rren
As the car is new to me I was just having a TORQUE round & I was surprised that there were none under the engine block bolts.I would have thought that there should have been. ( I have the spring washer on the big bolt at the rubber mount. ). Cheers Mark. Born again sevener
jamiegb
No spring washers needed for mount to block bolts, just torque the M10 bolts to 34Nm. Bolts from engine mount to mounting rubbers have spring washers torqued to 41Nm Jamie
Andy Best
2000 build manual says yes between bolt head and mount.
WD
Checked the 2002 build manual and it states spring washers only on the bolts on the left side with Loctite on the longer RHS bolts. Dont know why I fitted them to both sides and when CC repaired the car after it was pranged they used spring washers on both sides also. ( No problems so far after 18K miles) So maybe not be too critical as long as some means of locking is adopted
w7rren
Thanks all. Those on the lh side look a pig to get at. I'll keep my eye on them .  Mark Born again sevener
