Petrolhead
Having discovered I have a faulty oil pressure sender I attached a capilary on to double check. its off a pal who says its accurate. According to the Minister site my oil presure should be: 60psi @ 4000 + rpm and max 80 psi Mine is 36 at tickover rishing quickly to between 90 and 100 at 6000 rpm. This is when the oil is at 65-70 deg This sounds high Should I be concerned? NE7Club Web Site R5 no 65 😬 Trackday 2nd April
mic
I would not worry about it, it will drop a bit when it gets hotter.

rj
PH That's quite similar to mine, which is wet sumped with apollo, mine is just 3-5 PSI less. I would not worry either. /regin
Petrolhead
My concern is that when the oil is cold the pressure is 120psi Where is the pressure relief valve located? NE7Club Web Site R5 no 65 😬 Trackday 2nd April
