Lardy Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Hello, I'm looking for a set of track day wheels. The car is a Roadsport SV 165BHP, De-dion axle. It has 15 inch wheels on it at the moment but I have seen a set of 13 inch at a good price. What difference will it make to run the 13's as opposed to 15's? Thanks Mad Friday and others
Tom_C Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Depends what tyre size you run on each set of wheels... If you keep the same width and profile you'll drop the ride height by 25mm Cheers Tom FH54WLX - only the car supports ManU, honest! see here - UPDATED

rgrigsby Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 If you went to 13" with 70 profile tyres then there's almost no difference at all, with 60 profile you do loose a bit of height but at worst it would be 1" (ie half the size difference) assuming the tyres are exactly the same size (which is highly unlikely). CR500's will drop it a bit more as they are lower profile than say 021/048r's Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com
