Job for next winter. I am not contemplating a mech overhall, so car will not be stripped to bare bones. TSK are mentioned in article in August Low Flying, and as they have so much experience of the 7, I presume they should be first port of call. Do they take a car in unstripped and if so what is a ball park figure for complete job. I am looking to have existing flared wings and rear wings refurbished rather than replaced. I understand TSK are near Dartford factory and assume Caterham sub-contract any bodywork stuff to them. I can understand that it would be better to strip the car of items of trim, but then I have the problem of getting the car to them.

Any ideas.

Would they let you strip it there?

 

I did this 3 years ago with my Grinnall, in the equivalent of an oven (August 2003) in a big Nissen hut....like a sauna it was only sweatier.

 

I had to take it all to bits and reassemble twice because the 'professional' fukced it up so badly.....never again!

TSK will remove all the bits and refit, thus offering a drive in/drive out service. Speak to TSK directly or you may find your car gets resprayed in Norfolk! (and to a very much lower standard if rumours are true....)

After a shunt mine was stripped down at 7 Workshop and then sprayed at TSK. Try giving Chris Wheeler a ring, he might be cheaper to do the dismantelling. 01992 470480.
