What's required. Are there any cheap bits of kit out there that can do it? Seems Draper who make a few don't do one.

Eeek I think you're right Mick. I wonder if any or my local garages would have the kit. Been trying for some time to find the cause of an erratic tickover. Thought I'd sorted it when I swapped to a 52mm throttle body. It was ok for a couple of months but is now back to hunting and sometime stalling ☹️.

I have the mems of the vhpd if you want it. It maybe of no use because of different spec engine but if you think it will be of any use I'll mail it down.

Hi Andy,

 

Thanks for the kind offer. Not sure if it would help or not. May need to sort out matching the immobiliser too which seems a bit of a PIA when I don't know where the problem lies. If could simply be an air leak I haven't found or a sensor giving duff info to the ECU or there again it could be the ECU playing up I suppose.

 

What ECU are you running now then?

I have an emerald now, fitted it at the same time as the jenvies.

Ah well all being well and with the help of PC and Gridgway I may be using one of those to help find the problem.
