elie boone Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 What would be the value of a 1996 Blackbird on carbs and W....dry sump kit with new clutch ? i have a track day seven ( Non Cat 😳 ) that nobody seems interested in so i am thinking of breaking it up and sell the part separetly because i want to enter a youngtimer series next year and need some funding. BTW everthing is in Belgium.
Paul Formston Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Hi Elie what sort of seven is it Regards Paul
Paul Formston Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Ok elie but my home computor is down so could you send the same mail to paul.formston@Raytheon.co.uk thanks
elie boone Posted August 3, 2006 Author Posted August 3, 2006 121 vieuws and not a single quote, or even a blat mail.
Manxseven Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 elie, It would be helpful if you added more details of the car. De-dion/Live Axle? Road Legal? Miles? painted? wheels/tyres - sizes? any carbon bits?  etc etc  then I think you would get some useful replies, at the moment it is very difficult to give any meaningful advice    Caterham Fireblade here
elie boone Posted August 3, 2006 Author Posted August 3, 2006 Manxseven, I want to know the price for the engine only, but it can be heard running if someone want to hear it.
peterg Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Can't say for sure but IIRC - Blackbird engines go for around £1000-1500 depending on mileage/condition etc, after all, you can buy a whole Honda Blackbird (carb version) for £3000 or less and then sell off the bike bits you don't need  I'd try it at £1500 as it's got the dry sump kit but be prepared to negotiate to a lower price...
