Some Numpty Questions - Spa gauge and mechanical oil pressure guage fitting

In the process of fitting a mechanical oil pressure gauge and a Spa temp/temp gauge.

 

What is the best way to wire up the oil pressure warning light? Was going to use the existing wiring for the electrical sender, but I have two issues, first the pressure switch is too far away from the wiring and second there is only one connection. I assume I attach the other bit of the switch to ground? Is it easier to run an extension from the old wire or run a new one? If so, where should I wire it up for power?

 

Spa gauge. Again what is the best way to wire up for power? There are 3 wires from the back of the old gauge. Can I reuse any of these? The manual says attach to a seperate ground from the loom. Where is best?

 

What is the best way to take care of any old wires from the old gauges? Wrap in insulating tape or heatshrink?
