Zetec clutch arm travel ?

Just finally bolted my zetec engine and type 9 gear box together , fitted with raceline flywheel , ap clutch and pressure plate , new releace bearing ( from raceline ).

 

The clutch arm appears to be already half way through its travel before it presses on the pressure plate fingers , I would have expected only a small amount of travel.

 

Don't want to put the engine in just to find out I should have put a spacer in or similar !

 

Any idea what other zetec installtions are getting ?

Hi Das I have a Zetec in my 05 roadsport and the clutch arm travels at least half way along the hole in the bell housing before it engauges the clutch so without seeing yours it sounds fine Regards Paul
