Yep! You can buy the glass from Caterham (about £70ish).

If you take the windsrcreen frame off the car you'll see a copule of screws at the bottom of the frame, undo these and then the glass slides out!

Hugo,

if it isn't smashed get a plant glass (i.e. diggers) company to cut one from flat laminated using the old one as a template. Strictly speaking it should have kite marking or similar to be mot'able.

The last one I did like that was about £40 and could be cheaper for cash *wink*

cheaper to get one cut, CC charge £82inc. vat I think.

Putting the glass back in, can be a challenge. Use plenty of silicon lubricant on the rubber will help, not a job to be rushed.

Problems already? That screen was brand new in there, straight from caterham. I'd attempted to fit a second hand heated screen to the black frame, but it was chipped already and didn't survive the fitting. The plain glass went in fairly easily, but lots of silicone lube was involved.

I found it easier to fit the rubber seal to the glass, and then push the glass and seal into the frame, using washing up liquid as lube. But my original screen rubber was 14 years old and not as flexible as it might have been.

Getting the screen to scuttle gasket to fit was more of a challenge, not helped by me not seeing that it is not a symetrical moulding. Still i can now take my screen off in about 30 seconds as i've had so much practice.

Yep, stone hit screen at eye level drivers side, so was lucky had a screen and neither helmet(prob ok) nor Oakleys probably not ok.
