blade_runner Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 My Blade has two oil pressure senders, the standard blade one, which operates the Oil pressure warning light and another larger one that operates the Racetech electrical oil pressure gauge, I have noticed of late that the Oil pressure fluctuates while cornering, cant say I had noticed it happening before but as i have a dry sump and have heard lots on here about the Senders being crap, I thought if i could identify whch car it came from I would replace it theres a pic here both the senders are mounted remotely on an aluminum block its the larger one to the left hand side there, is some infomation stamped on the end of the sender it can be seen here as far as I can make out it says 12-24v 0 :- 8 AST 603533 23 02 can anyone shed some light for me ? Peter T Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Looks like a standard unit. Any type will do, check what thread it is though? More than likely an 1/8 NPT but it could be metric? That unit is up to 8 bar of pressure. Caterham will keep these in staock, but any good motor factors might have also. R500 Mango Madness
